Suitable Intervals
This may seem vague, but in general, your scaffolding should be inspected at regular intervals. These intervals should not exceed 7 days, so carrying out an inspection once a week is appropriate. If it has not been inspected within the time frame of 7 days, it should not be used by staff.
Exceptional Circumstances
If you notice that there has been severe weather, strong winds or rain, or another kind of circumstance that would impact the scaffolding, it should definitely be inspected before use. Any signs of vandalism, damage or alterations are also an indicator that the scaffolding may not be safe.
